gynoecium are the female parts of a flower which are carpel/pistil(stigma style and ovary). androecium are the male parts of a flower which are stamen (filament and anther). These help in pollination for reproduction of a plant.
The pollen from the male part of a plant goes to the female part by insects, wind etc. and sticks to the female part of the plant. On the stigma. Then a pollen tube generates and it reaches the ovary from style and there fertilisation takes place producing a fruit and a seed.
