Keeping a campus clean and in good repair no matter what its age, is a reflection on everyone involved. At the beginning of the summer the Facilities and Operations Department threw out a challenge to all schools to participate in a cleanest school contest. Judges came by each school every week during the summer to see the progress. After all the inspections and wearing out unknown pairs of white gloves, Hopkins Elementary School came out the winner. Congratulations to Head Custodian Michael Ricondo and his crew Sandra Montanez, Adriana Medina and Adela Huerta. They take a lot of pride in their work. Congratulations also to Elolf Elementary School for taking second place. The Head Custodian there is Daniel Vargas, and his crew Gabriela Reza, Lorena Saucedo and Maria Santos.
