the different types of fuel that are used in daily life are as follows:
solid fuels are coal , charcoal , wood , peat ,dung etc the calorific values of these fuels are 15000 to 27000 kj/kg for ccoal, 14000 to 17000 for wood , 13000 to 20000 for peat , dung is much lower .
the liquid fuels are kerosene , petrol and diesel ( only for vehicles) kerosene has 35000 kj / kg and LPG has arround 133000 kj/kg , the best fuel is LPG gas as it has high calorific value and also it does not leave any solid or liquid residue.
