Project Focus - Empathy and Compassion
Target Point - As individuals, we should encourage students to respect all the jobs and understand the value and dignity of the work. Sweepers, shoe makers, laborers and lenders contribute to staying comfortable. We should respect the people for their firmness, hard work and effort. If we have to give dignity to labor, then social services should be appreciated and the community should be sensitive to individuals and learn to understand and respect them.
Key Objectives:
Students will:
● Understand the value of labor.
● Understand the importance of various businesses in our social system - such as Ice Cream Lorry, Balloon Man, Chai Stall, Kite Vendor, Bangle Dealer, Knife Holder, Food Lorry, etc.
● Learn to respect people from different professions of life.
● Understand human rights and value
● be sympathetic and kind.
● Respect the people despite the nature of the work involved in their business.
● Create love for labor.
Procedure: Join the regular interaction with the process of two different community assistants (Ice Cream Seller, Household Assistance, Cobbler, Sweeper, Driver etc.) and discuss their problems and hazards. Make a list about issues that are important to them and how their improvements in their working conditions can be brought about.
