Over the past 5 days, the death toll has completely stabilised in Nepal.
The death toll from the 1st earthquake has now totalled 8510 in Nepal (and 164 in other countries) and the 2nd earthquake totalled 163 in Nepal (and 65 dead in other countries.
The missing toll is now down to 199 in Nepal. Of these, around 170 were in affected earthquake regions. In addition, 80 foreigners remain missing.
This means that unfortunately the death toll from both quakes in all countries is 8674 + 228 (8,902).
Of these around 600-1000 were from landslides and non-shaking building collapse fatalities.
