Fire broke in the Sharma textile factory situated in Punjabi Bagh on 2nd September 2019. The fire broke in the evening around 7pm due to short circuit in the meter. the fire started from the godown and then it reached the place where the clothes were being prepared.

the fire was put off after 1hour. fire brigades were called and they reached on time. everyone were safe and were out of the building safely after the fire alarm made the sound. there were fire extinguisher in the factory which also helped to put off the fire till the time the fire brigade reached.

fire caused a huge loss worth of lakhs but a lot of material was even taken out.
