Arunima  Sinha born in 1988 was the first female  amputee and  to climb Mount Everest as well as a 1st indian amputee to climb mt.everest.  She was a national level volleyball player who was pushed from a running train by thieves in 2011 while she was resisting them.thus  One of her legs had to be amputated because of the accident.
