03 April, 2020: I attended a workshop about reading habits in Ramakrishna mission yesterday. The chief secretory of RKM was also present there. He delivered speech on significance of reading, its good effects and how can we grow reading habits.
His speech was so much inspiring. They also read out some part of their newly launched book on Swami Vivekananda. Many foreigners also attended this programme.

Students of XYZ School attend a day long workshop on reading habits, organised Reader's Collective. The workshop was conducted on 12.02.2020 at Kensels Library.
The first session of the day was on silent reading and is was chaired by Professor Sirius Sani. The resource persons discussed about different strategies to increase silent reading. After the first session students and teachers departed for lunch.
The second session of the day was on 'Effective methods for the cultivation of reading habits'. The session was chaired by Ms. Piyali Pani, the director of Kensels Library. The students came to know about various techniques to develop reading habit. The resource person also suggested techniques to select a book of your choice. The students were also told about various reading clubs that were running in the city. The students also came to know about online libraries and their usage.
Students learned a lot from the workshop. They were eager to read more and join different reading clubs as well.
The workshop ended with a vote of thanks from the organisers.
