The situation has remained the same for the last 10 days. We are trying to provide adequate relief materials to the victims."

The water level is likely to recede till 9 am on Sunday. It is also flowing above the danger mark in Dhubri district. The Dhansiri river in Golaghat and the Jia Bharali river in Sonitpur are also flowing above the danger mark. The ASDMA said, "Six relief camps in Dhemaji and one in Sivasagar are operational with 1,565 camp inmates till Saturday."
