The annual day function of our school was organized on 21 May 2017. The function began at around 4 pm . The District collector was the chief guest . The girls of senior classes greeted him through a vandana geet as he was being marched to the dias by the NCC cadets . On this occasion the principal rose to the audience and delivered the welcome speech to the dignitary . After this there were several quiz and academic competitions held . The senior class students enacted a play reflecting moral and cultural values. Junior students started singing beautiful songs . At the end the honourable guest applauded the school for its all round success and wished a better future for the students . This was followed by the national anthem and thus the celebration ended .

Cultural Show with a Difference

Our school organised a cultural show in the school auditorium on 1st December, 2018 at 5:00 pm as part of a cultural exchange programme between India and Bangladesh. The theme was 'Friendship between countries'. The Chief Guest was the Indian External Affairs Minister, who inaugurated the show.
A variety of programmes/performances including folk dances, drama, role play, Rabindra Sangeet and musical programmes/performances were staged. The role play stole the show due to its theme of the commonality of cultures between the two countries and the fantastic acting of the children. The dances were both the classical ones as well as the modern.
The show concluded with a prize distribution ceremony honouring the talented children of the school. Then the Chief Guest spoke, congratulating the students for their excellent performances.
Then our principal, Ms Amaya K., proposed a vote of thanks.
The function ended with the National Anthem.
It was an evening to remember.
