The NCC fosters character, comradeship, service ideals, and leadership capacity in the country's youth, stimulates interest in the country's defence by providing service training to the youth, and builds a reserve to allow the Armed Forces to expand rapidly during a National Emergency.
This year, students made a beeline for NCC cadet enrolment in the Air Wing Army Wing for the junior wing. The training was carried out in accordance with the unit's instructions.
The junior wing has a total enrollment of 39 cadets. The NCC cadets are trained according to the schedule during the training session. The training started in July, and the junior cadets excelled in all aspects of NCC activities.
NCC Cadets participated in literary, health awareness, tree planting, and traffic awareness camps as part of their training schedule. Our cadets also organised "Aids Awareness" and "Swach Bharat Abhiyaan" rallies to raise public awareness.
As part of their NCC training, our 39 cadets attended the CATC Camp (Combined Annual Training Camp) in Chennai, where they made an impression and won prizes in the various competitions held during the session.
