Answer:

Robbery in a Jewellery Shop

22 February:

A robbery took place last night at Nahar Plaza in Mymensingh town at about 4 pm. The robbers took away at least 100 tolas of gold ornaments and cash worth about 40 lakh taka with them.

Anwar Hossain, owner of the shop, said that he found the lock broken and the cash and showcases ransacked when he opened the shop next morning. He could not confirm how and exactly when the robbery took place.

Police visited the shop and found that the robbers broke into Jhalak Jewellery through the ventilator from a room of the adjoining Bilas Boarding and entered the shop to take away ornaments and cash.

However, a case has been filed in this connection with the local police station against an unidentified number of criminals. Police has arrested two night guards for interrogation who were on duty at that night. But no clues have yet been found, sources said.
