Report writing of social forestry day on school

The Social Forestry Day on 2nd June coinciding with the coronation anniversary of our beloved Fourth Druk is an important annual event for the Department of Forests and Park Services. As usual, this year too, the day has been widely celebrated across the country by planting tree saplings.

The forestry field Divisions with support from local governments and volunteers have carried out new plantations and also refilling of earlier plantations. More than 75,000 seedlings have been planted including seedlings distributed to schools, institutions and community fores groups .
