Ganesh has been the favorite god of many people. The people celebrated his birthday as a festival of the town. The people gathered at a common place. They sung songs praising lord Ganesh and exchanging sweets. There were periodic prayers which spread spirituality all across the town. It was a three day to five day festival. On the end of the fifth day, all the idols must be dissolved in a river or a sea. The people took their idols with music and dancing to the water. The idols are dissolved in the water. This year, the celebrations brought a lot of goodness and spirituality to the people of the town.
