When a child below fourteen years of age is employed at an industry or working, it is known as Child Labor and is an illegal act.

According to the ILO, ''there are around 12.9 million Indian children engaged in work from the age of seven'' The main cause of this act is poverty. The children have no choice but work in factories along with their parents for their survival. We as youngsters, can help toward the betterment of the society by stopping child labor. We could do this by spreading awareness among men/women, taking stringent measures and implementing strict laws against anyone who refuses to comply and by providing education and shelter to children.
