The School celebrated the 143rd birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation. On this auspicious occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the students of Shakti House presented the assembly on the theme ‘Non-Violence’ depicting the life of the great man who lived on the principles of ahimsa and non-violence. Through a small yet exceptionally amazing skit, the students presented as to why Gandhi Ji chose to follow the path of ahimsa and non violence to fight against the British Empire. They presented the philosophical and pragmatic ideals of Gandhi Ji.
The splendid event concluded with a graceful dance performance by the students. The students laid emphasis on non-violence with the thought “Anger is the enemy of non-violence and pride is a monster that swallows it up”. The students showed through the skit how Gandhi Ji’s teaching is still relevant in our lives. The assembly was finally concluded with the National Anthem
