  Students Of The Bharati Vidyalaya Start The Garbage Cleaning Operation

Inspired by the Swachch Bharat Abhiyan or the Clean India Campaign the students of the Bharati Vidyalaya started the Garbage Cleaning Operation on 12 April. All the students and teachers assembled in the school auditorium at 10 am.

The Principal inaugurated the campaign. He spoke about the ways in which dirty surroundings can lead to many problems and diseases. Mosquitoes and flies which carry disease causing organisms breed in dirty places. He further added that dirty surroundings have a negative impact on the minds and life style of the people. So it was the duty of every student to keep his surroundings clean.

After that the teachers divided the students into groups and gave them masks and gloves. Some of them were give implements to collect and throw the garbage. Each group of students worked under the supervision of a teacher. They worked in different areas in the school campus. Some of them even went to the nearby areas and cleaned the place. A vehicle had been waiting to take all the garbage to the landfill. They collected the garbage and put it in the vehicle.

In the evening, the school campus and the surrounding areas were spic and span. The students of Bharati Vidyalaya have set a very good example for others.
