Independence Day
Monday 14th August 2017
Today there was a Independence Day celebration at D.A.V public school.All the students were dressed up in white dress.All the students were given tiny flags.All the kids were very excited to be part of this function.The function started with march pass and then reguler assembly.After that there was flag hoisting by the School Principal Mrs.Asha Khanna.Then kids danced on stage in patriotic songs and there were small skits about national heroes.There events are important to enhance the knowledge of the children.It was a two hour function.It was a memorable day

It was heartening to see youngsters put forth a concentrated effort with as much energy and get-up-and-go to the Independence Day festivities as in different celebrations. Their exertion in designing their individual classrooms and their support in walk pasts and cultural activities on the 60th Independence Day uncovered their excitement.
Our school commended the Independence Day with fervor. The Independence week was hailed off on August 13 and finished in the festivals on August 17. The whole school was decorated with shades of the Indian Flag. The passageways were beautified with different gems by students. There was extreme rivalry among the classes to win the coveted for trophy for the best-designed class announcement board. Little tots of the pre-essential classes held a melodic introduction of energetic tunes. The school get together held amid the week likewise had a program where extraordinary identities of yesteryear met those of the present day to trade notes.
There were Rallies and in addition shows which were set up for the Independence day. The entire occasion was the devour for the eyes.
