Chndan Nagar, July 24, 2019: Rath Yatra was organised by the municipality corporation yesterday. From the Chandan Nagar More, the programme started. It went through main road. Most of the people of Chandannagar participated in this occasion. Otherwise, lot of people came from outside. Many children were also came outside with their Rath.

The annual Rath Yatra was held in Puri, Orissa on 23rd June 2020. In this Yatra, Lord Jagannath comes out of his sanctum sanctorum to give Darshan to all his devotees. It begins on Ashadha Shukla Dwitiya and Ends on Ashadha Shukla Dashami. This year, a large number of devotees had participated in this occasion. Rath Yatra was telecasted live by Doordarshan and all other channels.
