Mumbai, February 20: Yesterday, from 10 a.m to 4 p.m., thousands of cars, trucks, tankers, autos and two – wheelers were caught in the traffic jam from Andheri link road to Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminals. It was learnt from some reliable sources that the situation had been caused by a political procession.
The two-hour travel from the northern end to the southern tip of Maximum City took almost 5 hours due to the heave traffic jam. The traffic police found it difficult to maintain order. Rahavan, a senior traffic police officer said that he had never seen such a huge traffic jam in his life time. Shiva, a truck driver, said, “I have been driving for the past 25 years but I have never witnessed such a terrific traffic jam” .

Pune, 12 August: Yesterday, the city has witnessed a terrific traffic jam near Shaniwar wada. It was reported that there was a car accident at 2 pm. Two persons have been reported dead on the spot. Hundreds of vehicle stuck in both the sides. Due to Ganpati festival and accident roads were completely blocked.
The traffic officer said, "It was first time in my ten years of experience I never witnessed such a huge jam." After four hours with the help of traffic police situation became normal.
