A devastating bomb blast destroys the peaceful image of Republic day.

January 26, 2005, Guwahati: The capital of Assam has experienced an unwanted emergency when two terrible bomb blast takes place in the event of Republican Day, On 26th January. The two bombs were exploded within 15 mins of each other at 8.45 am. and 9 a.m. It was Wednesday. The city was celebrating the Republic Day. The incident occurs at near the security Republic Day Parade View. The authority suspect militants of the banned United Liberation from Assam. 10 were injured badly and were admitted to GMC hospital. Primarily 4 people were arrested. The incidence place is declared to sanitized over the past three days. The police took a keen interest in the case.
