Improving food resources can be done by numerous methods.Some of the methods are;

1) By keeping the ecosystem in check ie; taking proper care that the soil erosion isn't taking place.

2) Then by enhancing the quality of the soil in which the crops are grown. By increasing the quality of the soil by adding fertilizer and manure we can increase the soil quality thereby increasing the quality of the crops.

3) By adopting modern scientific methods like drip irrigation and usage of modern agricultural equipment we can yield more crops effectively.

4) By using the plants which are genetically modified which results in high crop yield in a short period of time.

5) By adopting mixed farming we can increase the food resources quantitatively.
