Akola, January 28: Our school, Ideal School , celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm this year. It was a special occasion, because the school football team had won the 2018 International Football Match. The programme began with the unferling of the National Flag at 8.00 am by the principal, Mr.R.S Shetty. Everyone stood at attention and sang the National Anthem along with the school music group. After this, a few patriotic poem written by the students of the Literary group were recited. The principal then spoke briefly about the duties of students as citizens of the Republic of India. At the end, the football team went up on stage and was cheered loudly. Sweet were distributed and the gathering dispersed after the singing of the national song
