there are two kind of speech 1 direct speech 2 reported speech

reported speech is also known as indirect speech
in the starting the word re means again and it means one person is re telling the sentence is called reporting speech

example - he said that " they are going to market "
he said - indirect speech
that is always use to connect the word
they are going to market -direct speech
direct speech is always written in inverted cooma
