construct a right angle of base 3 units and height 1 unit.
the hypotenuse would be of length √10 units
use a rounder to record this length and project on the base line

Mizhaan: thats the best combination
Narender111: Sorry i didnt get it
Mizhaan: like you need two whole nimbers such that their square is equal to 10

EXPLANATION (Method 2) :-

Heya,

Here is your answer:-

》 Draw 10cm and mark the end points as A & B

》 From B extent 1cm and mark as point C and [1] {as shown in the above pic}

》 And later extend the line and mark the numbers.

》 Draw a perpendicular bisector [90deg] From points A & C. And draw the dotted line and mark the meeting point as O

》Taking O as centre, make a semi circle starting from A and end it at point C

》 From B, Draw a 90deg line. And mark the meeting point as D

》 Taking B as centre cut an arc that touches the number line.

》 Mark the meeting point of the arc on the number line as P and that point P is the location of √10

Hope my answer helps you :)
