-Draw a line segment of 7.6cm
-Mark it A and B
-Draw 1cm From B
-Mark it C
-Use a compas to measure AB
-Now from A and C cut an arc to get 90° in the centre of AC(without disturbing the compas) and Mark that point M
- from M, make a semi circle from A to C
- draw a straight line from B cutting the semi circle and Mark that point D
- measure BD using the compas
- now without disturbing the compas make an arc from D to the line using B as the point where the compas is placed.
