if we take X as 0
7*0+2y=14
2y=14
y=8

Anshika53: soo if we can take y-0 the equeation is balanced or not~?? means how many times we take

Answer: It meets in x-axis at (2,0) and in y-axis at (0,7).

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

7x+2y=14

We need to find the coordinates when the line meets at x-axis and y-axis .

So, when it meets at x-axis,

Put y = 0

So, it becomes,

7x+0=14\\\\x=\frac{14}{7}=2

similarly, when it meets at y-axis, put x = 0,

so, it becomes,

2y=14\\\\y=\frac{14}{2}=7

Hence, it meets in x-axis at (2,0) and in y-axis at (0,7).
