Taking O as center & compass width = OC , draw an arc on right side of Zero

Verification
AB = 8.2+ 1 = 9.2
Radius = MA = MB = MC = 9.2/2
OM = MB - OB = 9.2/2 - 1
OC² = MC² - MO²
=> OC² = (9.2/2)² - ( 9.2/2 - 1 )²
Using a² - b² = (a + b )(a - b)
=> OC² = (8.2) (1)
=> OC = √8.2
