EXPLANATION:

  • draw a number line of 9.3 CM and add more 5 cm.
  • take 10.3 CM(9.3+1) and A as the centre and take random radius and mark at both the sides and the arcs will bisect each other.
  • then draw a line through both the bisecting arcs. here this will form the midpoint of the line between 10.3 cm and point A. let the midpoint be capital M.
  • take M as the centre and point A as the radius, make a semicircle.
  • draw a 90 degree angle on point b and draw the line till the the circumference of the semicircle. let the point be O.
  • here,OB will be root 9.3.
  • taking the radius as OB, draw an Arc till the number line.
  • this is the location of√9.3
