Represent the following are quadratic equations : A train travels a distance 400 km at a uniform speed.

If the speed had been 5 km/h less then it would have taken 4 hours more to cover the same distance.

We need to find speed of the train.

Step-by-step explanation:

let speed of train = x

then time(t) = dist/speed = 400/x

now when speed is 5 km/h less then

time = ( t+4) = 400/(x-5)
