→ Area of rectangular plot = 528 m²

→ Let length of plot = x

→ Let breadth of plot = y

ATQ - 1

→ x = 2y + 1 ––––––––––––—–— ( 1 )

ATQ - 2

→ x • y = 528 m²

→ ( 2y + 1 ) y = 528 m²

→ 2y² + y = 528 m²

→ 2y² + y - 528 = 0

→ 2y² + 33y - 32y - 528 = 0

→ y ( 2y + 33 ) -16 ( 2y + 33 ) = 0

→ ( y - 16 ) ( 2y + 33 ) = 0

So,

→ y = 16

and

y = -\frac{33}{2}

Length and breadth cannot be negative

So , y = 16 m

Put y in eqñ ( 1 )

→ x = ( 2 × 16 ) + 1

→ x = 32 + 1

→ x = 33 m
