Represent x+y=10,x-y=4 on graph and find it points of intersection by substitution method

Answer:

x+y=10 -(1)

x-y=4 -(2)

from equation (2)

x=4+y

putting the value of x in equation 1

(4+y)+y=10

4+2y=10

2y=10-4

2y=6

y=3

putting the value of y in equation 2 , we get

x=3+4=7

so, the point of intersection is (7,3)
