The stability of population is ensured only when reproduction takes place. The production of new individuals is helpful because the the rate at which the older individuals are dying, new individuals should be formed as such rate to ensure the stability of a population

Answer:

Reproduction is directly linked to the stability of the population of species because it helps in replacing the ageging population with the new population and thus ensures the survival of the species. In the absence of reproduction one particular species will disappear with time.
