GOOD Morning respected chief guest principal teacher sir and my dear friend today I am going to tell few lines about republic day.
Firstly I had like to wish you all a very happy republic Day. it is an important day for all Indians. today when a few cello Indians are talking about the fear of losing their basic rights which are enshrined in the constitution this day becomes all the more important. she is our childhood we have been celebrating republic day as a national holiday but we truly understand the significance of this day only when we grow up. Quick republic day is celebrated on 26 January. On this day in 1950 the constitution of Indian came into effect. our constitution grants us right and lay down our duties. we are a democratic country. In our society we are separated by many social barriers but on a border level we are all United by the the idea of India. the beauty of our country is that despite having different languages and tradition we all stand United.
The date was selected because it was when Purna Swaraj was declared in 1930 by the Indian National Congress. Large parade showcasing the prowess of Indian army, Air force and navy and artists exhibiting tradition dance forms constituted the Grand republic day celebration. People from across the country pay tribute to the freedom fighters. Republic day is a national holiday in India. Government official, prime minister, and chief minister of the state unfurl the tricolour and honour the country and drafter of its constitution.
Our national flag has three colour and wheel in the centre with 24 equal stick. all the three colours of our national flag have save meaning. in the centre there is a blue colour which indicates as dharma chakra of the great king Ashoka. Indian army do republic day parade and take salute of the national flag. There is also a big exhibition of the India culture and tradition takes place by different Indian states to show the unity in diversity of India.
This day reminds us of the worth of all our freedom fighters, their sacrifices towards the country’s freedom, and their devotion towards the country. So, this day we give our full devotion and respect to them.
