because magnet attracts all magnetic substances not neserely magnets

If we take attraction in action,

Every magnetic substance and opposite poles of a magnet attract each other, In this case if we are blind , We can't tell whether it is a magnet or magnetic substance,

If we take repulsion into action,

Then we can surely tell whether the thing is an magnet or not, because same poles repel each other, but magnetic substance and magnet won't repel, So we can tell if that is a magnet or not !,


So repulsion is the sure test for magnet because it gives 100% correct answer but attraction it won't give 100% because magnetic substances also attract towards magnet !
