1)

  • Opposite vectors.

Opposite vectors are defined as

Vectors having same magnitude but they have opposite direction.

They have same magnitude but with opposite signs.

  • Anti - Parllel vectors.

Anti - Parllel vectors are defined as

Vectors having opposite direction.

Here in this case their magnitude need not be same.

2)Unit vector

Unit Vector is that whose magnitude is 1.

i,j and K are unit vectors along x,y and z axis.

\large{ \hat{a}}

\large{ \vec{a} = | \vec{b}| \times \hat{a}}

\large{ \hat{a} =  \frac{ \vec{a}}{|  \vec{a}|}}

#refer the attachment for figure.

Note the diagram will be same for anti - parllel vectors but both will not be equal.

i) \huge\orange{Opposite\:vector:}

⭕Vectors having same magnitude, but they have opposite directions.

⭕The angle between two opposite vectors is 180°.

\huge\red{Anti-parallel \:vector:}

⭕Vectors having same or different magnitude, but they have opposite directions.

⭕The angle between two Anti-parallel vectors is 180°.

ii) \huge\yellow{Unit\:vector :}

⭕Unit vector is defined as the ratio between the position vector to the magnitude of the vector.

⭕The angle between two unit vectors is :

cos \binom{ -  > }{m} . \binom{ -  > }{n}

⭕It is denoted by cap(^).

⭕It's magnitude is 1.

⭕i cap, j cap and k cap are unit vectors along X, Y and Z axis.
