RER can synthesis or manufacture protien but SER cannot.why?​

RER can synthesise or manufacture protein but SER cannot. It is so because, RER has Ribosomes attached to its surface which is the site of protein synthesis, but SER doesn't contain Ribosome.

RER can manufacture proteins because it has ribosomes attached to its surface and ribosomes are responsible for protein synthesis.

On the other hand, SER does not have any ribosomes attached to it so it can't manufacture proteins.
