let the length be 2x+1 and breadth be x

area =l×b

528 = (2x+1)×x

528= 2x^2+x

0=2x^2+x-528

0=2x^2+33x-32x-528

0=2x(x-16) + 33(x-16)

0=2x+33;x=-33/2

x=16

therefore length = 27 and breadth is 16.

Given

  • rectangular plot =528m^2
  • length of plot =one (in meters)
  • twice ia breath

Find

  • lenght
  • breath

⬇️⬇️Solution⬇️⬇️

Let the length be 2 x + 1

Let the breath be x

⬇️Formula used

Area = l × b

528 = (2 x + 1 ) × x

528 = 2 × ^ 2 + x

0 = 2 x ^ 2 + x - 528

0 = 2x^ 2+ 33x - 32 x 528

0 = 2x + 33

x = 33/2

x= 16

therefore

answer

  • length = 27
  • breath = 16
