• Explain where the study area is located (eg. Map of Asia indicating India)
Describe India in terms of its exact position (degrees, minutes and seconds)
Describe physical factors in the study area (India) e.g. biodiversity (vegetation
types, wild flora and fauna) and demographic and related social aspects).
Step3: Mapping
Provide a map of the area in question (influence of summer monsoon winds in
India)
The map should include the ITCZ, Indian High pressure and thermal low
pressure
The map should have a clear legend or key.
Create a buffer zone around India (the geographical problem or phenomena
exist)
If the map used covers a wider area eg. Map of Asia, buffer zones around the
area (India) of the study should be created.
