EVALUATION

Let the distance of the university = x km

Now the time taken when Sheldon walks at a speed of 10 kmph

  \displaystyle\sf{ =  \frac{x}{10} \:  \: hour }

Again the time taken when Sheldon walks at a speed of 20 kmph

  \displaystyle\sf{ =  \frac{x}{20} \:  \: hour }

Now it is given that Walking at a speed of 10 kmph, Sheldon reaches his university 10 minutes late and when he walks at 20 kmph, he reaches 5 minutes early

Difference in time

= ( 10 + 5 ) minutes

= 15 minutes

  \displaystyle\sf{ =  \frac{15}{60} \:  \: hour }

  \displaystyle\sf{ =  \frac{1}{4} \:  \: hour }

So by the given condition
