Reshma is making a collage on global warming. She bought a chart paper for the same. She has 16 square shaped photographs related to global warming. She then pasted all the photographs on the chart paper. If the length of each side of the photograph is 5 cm, what is the area of each photograph?​

given that,

→ Length of each side of the photograph = 5 cm .

and, all photographs are in the shape of a square .

So,

→ Area of each photograph = (side)²

→ Area of each photograph = (5)²

→ Area of each photograph = 25 cm² .

therefore, the area of each photograph is equal to 25 cm² .

→ Area of chart paper = Total photographs * Area of each photograph

→ Area of chart paper = 16 * 25

→ Area of chart paper = 400 cm² .
