effective resistance between A and G = 16 Ω

Explanation:

Resistance between C & D   ( as these are in parallel)

= 1/(1/10 + 1/10)

= 1/(2/10)

= 10/2

= 5 Ω

Resistance Between B & D = 10 + 5  = 15  Ω

Resistance between B & G    (BD & EF are in parallel)

15  Ω & 10 Ω  are in parallel

= 1/(1/15 + 1/10)

= 30/(2 + 3)

= 30/5

= 6 Ω

Resistance between AG = AB + BG

= 10 + 6

= 16 Ω
