Answer:

see we know that formula for series combination is R=R1+R2+R3 so now here they have asked the resultant resistant means the total/equivalent resistant then R=R+R+1+R+n then 3R+n+1 then the equivalent resistance is 3R+n+1 because further we cannot solve it
