resistance when two resistance of the 3 ohm and 6 ohm are connected in parallel ?

•R1=3 ohm.

•R2= 6 ohm.

•When this resistances are connected in parallel, then :

•Equivalent resistance= 1/R equivalent:

=1/R1 +1/R2

=1/3 +1/6

=6+3/6*3

=9/18

=1/2

•Therefore R equivalent is 2 .

•So answer is 2.

1/R= 1/R1 + 1/R2
= 1/6 + 1/3
= 1/6 + 2/6
= 3/6
R = 2 ohm
