•R2= 6 ohm.
•When this resistances are connected in parallel, then :
•Equivalent resistance= 1/R equivalent:
=1/R1 +1/R2
=1/3 +1/6
=6+3/6*3
=9/18
=1/2
•Therefore R equivalent is 2 .
•So answer is 2.
