Resistivity:- 1. It is defined as the resistance offered by a cube of a material of side 1m when current flows perpendicular to its opposite face.

2.Its S.I. units is ohm metre.

3.Resistivity does not change with change in length or area of Cross section but it changes with change in temperature.

Resistance:- 1. It is property of the conductor to resist flow of changes through it.

2. S.I. unit of resistance-Ohm.
