Resistivity of copper is 1.76 x 10^-6 ohm.cm. Determine the
resistance of a copper rod having length 10 cm and cross
sectional area 1 cm^2.​

The resistivity of copper is 1.76 x 10-8 ohm metre the radius of the wire is 1mm, calculate the lenght of wire needed for having resistance of 10.5 ohm.

we know that

resistance =  \frac{rho \times length}{area}

then ,

R

 =  \frac{1.76 \times 10 {}^{ - 5}  \times 10}{1} ohm

 = 1.76 \times 10 {}^{ - 5} ohm
