Given is 2 resistors,

R₁ = 1 Ω

R₂ = 100 Ω

If R₁ & R₂ are in Parallel, The Resultant Resistance will be:

R = 1/R₁+1/R₂

R = (1/1) + (1/100)

R = 1+1/100

R = (100+1)/100

R = 101/100 Ω

R = 1.01 Ω

The Resultant Resistance will be 1.01 Ω.

I hope this helps.
