In series ,add all the resistances for calculating effective resistance.
R1= 10 ohm
R2= 20 ohm
R3=30 ohm
R eff = R1+R2+R3
=10+20+30
=60 ohm
we know that from ohm's law
V = IR
6= I(60)
I= 6/60
I=0.1 ampere
