Resolution :-

The splitting of a vector into two or more than two vectors is known as resolution of a vector.

  • The vectors obtained after splitting of a vector are known as components of a vector.
  • These components are also vectors.

For example:-

let any vector f having components of splitting as f sin theta and f cos theta.

  • A vector has n- components or a vector having infinite components.

Extra Information:-

Vector :

A physical quantity that have magnitude as well as direction is known as vector quantity.

  • vectors can be added or subtracted by vector laws.

1)Triangle law

2) Parallelogram law

3) Polygon law

  • vectors can be changed either by changing in magnitude or direction
