\star\:\:\:\bf\large\underline\blue{Question:-}

  • Resolve into factors (or factorise) 9 -  {(a + x)}^{2}

\star\:\:\:\bf\large\underline\blue{Steps:-}

9 -  {(a + x)}^{2}

 =  {(3)}^{2}  -  {(a + x)}^{2}

Now, we know that

 {x}^{2}  -  {y}^{2}  = (x + y)(x - y)

So,

 {(3)}^{2}  -  {(a + x)}^{2}

 = (3 + a + x)(3 - a - x)

  •  (3 + a + x)(3 - a - x)
